props for the Mavs. they play the right way, they share the ball, they play as a team. i hate the NBA, but i am pro-Mavs because Cuban was THE ONE GUY in the NBA's ranks who spoke out against the Oklahoma City robber barons when they stole the Sonics from Seattle. seeing Dallas crush the Zombi Sonics in the playoffs this year was delightful. seeing

The Mavs played with a lot of heart, but it amazed me that they seemed to do it without any kind of inside game at all. On almost every offensive possession, none of their players seemed to go anywhere near the key. Nowitzki's great and all, but I think he's the tallest shooting guard in NBA history.

since Jet, Kidd, and Stevenson were all shooting the 3s so well. the Heat had to cheat out, which left driving lanes for Barea. (and if he is 6'0" then i'm about 6'10") they adapted the gameplan to what was working.

Nowitzki is sort of the prototypical European forward. the European game is filled with the 6'9" guys who stroke the 3 like that.
