[Caps] KuroMyu II - Part 1

Nov 24, 2010 15:29

These caps cover only about the first 22 minutes or so. And there are erm, 67 of them. xD So it's up till when their Shinigami Haken Kyoukai song finishes.

This post will cover some specific dialogue for those who did not understand the musical at all. Like 100% of what is going on. It's also super cappy for those interested in the musical.

PLEASE NOTE that lots of the translations for all four parts are general ideas of what they are saying and not all are exact dialogues of what they said. Please wait patiently for the subs to be released!
I'm NOT the one subbing this, PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME ABOUT IT.

And so, we open with...

And so the title just below 'The Most Beautiful DEATH in The World' says "Thousand Souls and the Fallen Shinigami".

We open with a little monologue with Ciel. He begins by saying, "There is no God." (Kami nante inai.) He also goes on to say about the humiliation and suffering. It's quite similar to the dialogue in the manga too. Perhaps because Toboso Yana herself was there to direct them a little, give pointers etc. She was around as drew some drawings on their whiteboard to encourage them. If you watched the backstage, she's the woman with bleached white hair. nayama just corrected me - it's most likely their director, so if you saw this off some video at YouTube which one of the comments said she's Toboso Yana like I did, that's incorrect. :X

Our savior, Sebastian appears! Ciel seems to have called upon the devil himself. Kinda awesome that he said, "There is no God". I'd like to continue the line with, "But there is the devil!" ♥ In any case, he appears at the very topmost level of their three level stage and smiles down at everyone. And with all his mocking voice, he begins, "Oh? That's a rather small master." He proposes to help Ciel with revenge, if that is Ciel's wish.

And some amazing lighting with handling the stage, along with a song. The lyrics and translation can be found at THIS VIDEO. Anyway, the rest of it is just some more caps of the scene.

Hang on, why are they covering Ciel up? :O

Ohhhh, that's why. They have a knack for displaying magic like in the previous musical, where Lau took the saw and sawed Sebastian. xD Anyway, they had ample time to shift Ciel out of the cage since Sebastian took his own sweet time to get down the second level. Magic in a musical! :O Indeed, a magical musical.

They have pretty good lighting. But IMO still cannot compare to BuriMyu Code 002's lighting. That was like, disco + 3 part revolving stage + stage that raises up and down. Goodness that one is just too awesome.

Ohhhh, that was what Sebastian was preparing us for. Yeah, Ciel appeared right there behind Sebastian. Anyway, the coat is gray and it's easy for him to move in that total blackout, even from backstage.

Ciel (roughly) says, "You'll be 'Sebastian Michaelis'. Obey me, grant my wish." and of course, Sebastian, "Yes my lord. The moment you call me, I'll be your loyal servant." The image of their contract is projected on the er, drape-curtain thing. It's pretty~

Suuuure, that's very rough, the translation I mean. And we get a scene shift using a blackout.

It's morning, and Ciel has just woken up. As usual, Sebastian helps Ciel wear his clothes.

It's usual reporting of the menu for breakfast, what kind of tea etc, and Ciel being a naughty boy doesn't want his scones and spinach (hourensou). Complaining, he also doesn't want his dance lesson. So Sebastian proposes that in exchange, he finishes his spinach for breakfast and Sebastian will cancel the dance lessons. Ciel asks if a butler like him is trying to have a say in what his master decides, and Sebastian responds that all he wants is for his master to grow healthily. Then I think Sebastian said he'll make potage (er, thick soup right?) and that'll have spinach with lots of milk, so that makes things easier to eat. (Upon hearing that it makes me hungry too...) Let's just assume Ciel just hates eating green leafy vegetables...

Ciel asks for the newspapers, and on the news there have been 4 women who have been reported dead. Strange deaths with absolutely no physical wounds when they died. This is of course, the main problem that will be looked into as it is the main plot that drives this musical.

And THEN! There is a disturbance of the peace of the morning.

Sebastian is shocked. And not pleased. Of course the disturbance is caused by none other than...

...the other three servants of the Phantomhive house (not including Tanaka) - Bard, Meirin and Finny. Sebastian calls their names loudly in a chiding tone, asking them why they disturb our dear bocchan, and on top of that to barge into Ciel's room.

They report there is a mouse sneaking around, and they've been trying to catch it but to no avail. They said it went into Ciel's room. Sebastian, being the perfect butler that you cannot not trust...

Above, Bard says, "He picked it up..."

"...threw it..."

"...ate it..."

"...hit it!" (< very roughly what he said) Perhaps he meant a baseball term which I'm not too sure of.

Even Ciel wanted to know how far that mouse was hit...

Meirin is always in awe of Sebastian...She's so cute.

And Bard needs to learn how to be careful with his weapons. >>; This is why when he was picked up by Sebastian, no one was at the battlefield - his handling of weapons are dangerous...

And so Sebastian is angry and is on the verge of shouting. He orders them back to work.

And then Meirin just remembered:

There seems to be a letter from Her Majesty.

From the letter, it says there have been reports that the screams of ladies have reverberated on the streets of London. Her Majesty believes this to be a chain of murders done by the same person. They then recalled the newspapers that Ciel read in the morning - about the four girls who mysteriously died without wounds. They think both the letter and the news report may be linked and so they will investigate this case.

The scene shifts and we get:

The shinigami guys! From left to right: Ronald Knox (guy who kissed Undertaker, backstage footage), William T. Spears, Eric Slingby, Alan Humphries. Can't hear names too well...

It's just a load of usual chatting and talking to each other - like normal office work. Except a little boring...

Ronald Knox leaps from maybe the 5th step...xD

William is just really handing his death scythe over to that colleague to take and place in a corner, but...

Will, why are you so harsh? ;~; That poor guy, you scared him!

I...actually don't quite know what's going on, but it's something about Ronald being jealous of Eric for some reason, and he's being a little grumpy about it. Er, Eric and Alan are both considered 'senpai' of Ronald, meaning Eric and Alan both entered and joined much earlier than Ronald. But considering Eric and Alan are OCs (they are, right, unless I missed something?), that doesn't really matter.

Alan then finds something strange in their records. The deaths [of girls] (ref. to the earlier cases that Sebastian and Ciel were talking about) don't tally with the souls they should have collected. William thinks that this case shouldn't have been passed on to "him".

Alan responds, "By 'him' you mean..." And here comes OUR LOVELY GRELL.

She responds, "No no, you mean 'her'!" (And since Grell wants to be called a 'her' in this case, I'll just refer to Grell as a 'she' for the next three posts as well.)

Hell yeah! With tongue. xD Uehara Takuya sure knows his stuff...

Will decides to leave this case to Alan. And well, everyone ignores poor Grell. D: One of the random minor shinigami asks what's with the idea of being unable to collect the souls. There is a reason why they have death scythes to reap the souls of the beings, however, Will explains that there's currently an existence that may possibly stop them from getting the job done. That is, the existence of a devil.

Grell steps in to say, "Yes! It's my Sebastian! Not only does he take souls, he's also taken my heart!"

Grell being adorableeee, asks, "Ne, Will, jealous~? ♥"

He's not grabbing where you think he's grabbing. All he's doing is this...

Yeah, really, just grabbing the hand. And being mean to Grell. D:

Will orders the rest to get serious. And we get this awesome, awesome catchy song. My favorite song of all the songs in both the first and second musical, the "Shinigami Haken Kyoukai" song. ;D

Ronald Knox - this guy can sing pretty well! Not only that, he can dance. :3 But he doesn't have much of an appearance in this whole thing. He does get to fight with Sebastian later, but that isn't much. Even William has minimal appearance. :X

"Daaaare~? ♥"

Eric - he also has a good voice. I quite like this voice, actually. He's the seme the one who will be gay with Alan.

Alan - er, goodness the way he speaks and the face just reminds me of Daiki-chan so I can't help but keep trying to imagine that MoriEiji is Eric...Anyway, he can also sing, so that's pretty good. Yeah, he's the uke...

And so to be a shinigami has its rules. Just following the caps, here are some rules...

You must wear glasses...!

Take good care of your zanpakutou death scythe! No, Grell's face has nothing to do with whatever I just said before, I just took that close up for fun...Uehara is awesome. 8D

Somewhere there, there's the line where you must be handsome...

Another rule...you work like mad without a smile. D: Grell's the outcast. xD She's always too happy~

Thrillerrrrrrr~ Thriller yeah~

And and and, Uehara Takuya can dance. I'm thinking maybe he's an actor and dancer type, but not so much of a singer. They were smart enough to let him sing less. If not it'd be quite off-tune like the red and black song with Sebastian in the previous musical because he moves too much and gets tired. :O

"SCREW YOUUUUUUUUUU AUDIENCE!"

That's why I say this song is awesome and cute. :3

Everyone's just accusing poor Grell. XD He's called a slacker and stuffs like that. D:

"Shinigami Haken Kyoukai DEATH!"

*eyebrow raise <--- William T. Spears does it best. :D I love this.

Anyway, Eric offered to be the back-up of Alan with this current case that William has decided to hand over to Alan. We then hear and know that Alan has some sort of "condition", but we don't really know what it is yet. Ronald before this asks about Alan and Eric's relationship with each other. William replies that when Alan was only just new to being a shinigami, Eric was the person who guided Alan along. So Eric is probably "worried about Alan's condition".

So that's it for the first twenty minutes! More to come soon!
