I booked myself a flight today to fly out to Philadelphia tomorrow (one of the great benefits of working for an airline!). There is a tattoo convention there that starts tomorrow and goes throughout the weekend. what do you do for the airline? Are your flights free?

I work for Northwest and I do everything from checking people in and dealing with reservations to taxing planes in, unloading them, loading them, boarding them, deicing them, etc.
I pay 12 dollars a segment. In order for me to fly anywhere I have to first go to Detroit because that is where the hub is located. So to get to West Palm Beach I would go Erie to Detroit, Detroit to West Palm Beach. That would be the same going back. So the flight round trip would be $44.

Not bad, that is quite a perk. I didn't realize it was that cheap as an employee, that's pretty sweet.
