Pregnant over 40!?
Sandi couldn't believe it when her daily vomiting and nausea ceased and a baby bump had become visible.
She had just lost a daughter. . . a 20 something daughter and was raising her almost teenage son.
Her life was supposed to be setting down not getting crazier.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Did she mention her eldest son had moved back home?!
After getting into it with his girlfriend he moved into her cramped little house.
Something would have to be done.
Something would have to tame this wildness.

Sandi decided to put on a family meeting.
Her pregnancy was high risk (because of her age) and had a couple ideas that kept her health in mind.
Leanna was going to University in a matter of days (which meant she would be well taken care of at Angleton State) so she was considering moving in with her unborn childs father and leaving the house for Deacon.
However Alex wasn't 100% up to the idea of going with his grandma.
"I like Mr. Deacon but I want to stay here," he sighed.
"Mom? Why doesn't Alex just stay here with me. We'll be okay," Deacon suggested.
Sandi was a little weary but the two of them had always been pretty close.
"If that's what you want Alex.
You will tell me if Uncle D.J gets out of hand though right?" Sandi asked.
"Yes grandma," he giggled.

So it was settled Sandi was moving in with Deacon, Leanna was going to college while Alex and D.J stayed at the house.
It was a little crazy but they'd all manage.
They said their goodbyes and gave Leanna gifts for College.
"Don't follow in my footsteps. . . do your best to finish & don't party tooooo hard," he giggled giving her a present.
Sandi left the same day as Leanna and Deacon had some advice for her as well.
"Take it easy mom. . . and if Dad gets out of hand give me a call," he smirked.
He never expected his father to have another baby with his mom after all these years.
When they were all gone Alex and Deacon were left to their own devices.
He would have to man up and be a great parent to a his little nephew.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Which he was. He was a great uncle and an even greater full time role model.
They would do everything together and the best part about it was keeping busy with Alex kept his mind off of Star.

Alex's birthday bash consisted of just the two of them but it was far from quiet.
Deacon brought out loud noise makers to welcome Alex into teenhood.
Alex transitioned into a cute little guy. He had a bit of his mothers facial structure and looked more and more like her as the years went by.
Deacon was proud of his nephew but knew that the first order of business was to get a makeover.
"Does this mean I get to spend your money?" he smiled.
". . . yes. yes it does," Deacon laughed.
So, that same night Deacon took him out on the town. . . searching for new teen furniture & a new look.
After the new look was complete (a nice fade and some casual clothes) they hit up a furniture store. Deacon wanted to give him a room makeover for his birthday present.

Meaaanwhile Leanna was a fresh face on Campus, however she spotted a familiar one very quickly. . . .
GEORGE, her steady boyfriend turned mega hunk.
They rented a house together and everything was pure bliss. . . .well almost everything minus the studying.
Hubba Hubba!
They were a quiet couple, who kept to themselves and got great grades.
Their relationship was a serious as one could get.
He was her first love, and vice versa. . . so it seemed nothing could tear them apart.
~*~*~*~*~
George was great at everything and spoiled Leanna with excellent cooking.
Even a basic salad was to die for.
"Thanks for being. . .you," Leanna said one day.
George smiled widely.
He remembered when he wasn't so. . . well built and how Leanna fell for him regardless.
No one else on Campus knew that George. It was unlikely those girls would have given him the time of day.
". . . you treat me too good," she added with a smile.
"I don't do enough," George stated. "I wish I could give you everything you want."
"You are what I want silly," she giggled.
They both blushed. Even after all these years he still got flustered at some of the things she said.
". . . I have something for you," he said nervously.
" This is what I mean Georgy you don't have too do these things," Leanna smiled.
"Yes. Yes I do," he said pulling out a jewelry box.
. . . .
"Anna? Please give me the chance to be everything I can for you,
. . . Please be my wife,"
Opening the box in disbelief Leanna starred at the beautiful ring.
"Yes.
Of course George. Of course I'll be your wife," she grinned.
After her acceptance they both were glowing.
"I love you so much," she said blowing him a kiss.
"I love you too," he smiled.
