Raine & Ethan Update Three
Raine and Ethan joined their siblings in the city.
They moved from their duplex into a cozy house with tons of space.
Although they were married and pretty settled by this point, Raine and Ethan weren't rushing into having kids.
Instead Raine wanted to focus on her love of animals by breeding pets and selling them to good homes.
Ethan was open to the idea & was focusing on his career as well.
He wanted to move up in his field and pay down a bit of the mortgage.

Off the bat the couple adopted cats named Cupcake, Heidi and Sweets.
Raine had plans for them to get together and make the cutest kittens the city has ever seen.
And when the news came back that cupcake was pregnant. . . Raine wondered if she was in fact ready to be a mom of her own.
However ready or not that would have to wait.

She was still pursuing her new goal and wanted to take it a step further, by adopting a couple more cats.
She bumped into her Carter at the Pet Store and he was curious to her new ideas.
" So word is you're becoming a cat lady now," he teased.
" I may eventually have enough to set up my own pet shop," she smiled.
Carter cringed playfully. That would be a lot of cats.

At the shop Raine picked up the newest edition to her project. She was a new female cat named Fray.
She promised herself (and Ethan) that this would be it until the kittens arrived.

Even though Raine promised that they were finished with adopting new cats, the house was becoming a bit crowded.
They decided it would be best to find sweets a new home. Ethan knew someone from work and he was sold for a reasonable price.

Soon after Sweets was adopted out Heidi gave birth to her kitten.
Twinkle was his name and he was irresistably cute with his orange eyes and black/grey hair.

His mother was instantly proud of her little one. Snuggling him and fussing over her baby constantly.
Again, seeing this made Raine question whether or not she was ready.
How would she know?

One night Rayleen came over to check up on her sister.
She had two little ones of her own and was sort of wondering when Raine was going to join her.
"I always thought you would have kids first," Raye confessed.
"Yeah, I kinda thought that too," she giggled.
"So what's stopping you?" she asked playfully.
"Busy with the pets.
We just can't have a baby right now," Raine confessed.
"If we can, you guys can," Raye teased.
Raine sighed.
". . . You'll be a great mom Raine," Raye convinced.
Okay, maybe deep down Raine was a bit worried about being a good mom.

That night when they were getting settled in bed Raine decided to consider the idea.
"Ethan you know you can't take kids back to the pet store right?" she teased.
"and you can't sell them to your coworkers," he teased back.
"You think I'm ready?" she asked nervously.
"You'll be the best mom. . . do you think your ready?" he asked.
She was quiet.
After thinking about everything her sister said and having such a great husband. . . why wouldn't she be?
"Yes. I think I'm ready," she smirked.
Ethans eyes lit up and he kissed her.
They we're going to be parents soon. Possibly the best in the world.
