For those who may have missed it, I cut some folks from yeahchemical.
The gist:
I scoured every single community post for the last two months. All the comment threads, all the fics, all the beta credits, all the times one person asked for help and another offered it, all the "Woo"s and "Nice fic"s and "Thanks, I'm downloading"s. If I saw a member participate even once, however minimally, or if a member'd been in contact with me previously about a hiatus, I put him/her on a safe list. Everyone else, I removed.
I can't stress enough that this cut was NOT PERSONAL. I did it to keep the comm we all love streamlined, intimate, and mutually rewarding, and to make room for fans more actively interested in the band. Fandoms change, interests change, people get lives and move on--I've been through those shifts myself. My choice of those removed was based on participation only, and I applied the same standard to everyone.
As it says on the community post (which, I just discovered, can only be replied to by friends of yeahchemical) I'm not infallible. If you feel that I missed a contribution you made to the community within the last two months, or if you had some crisis that prevented participation, let me know and we'll discuss it.
