Sun can tell the second she walks in that they’ve never met one another before. Her father’s business sustained itself on a wide-meshed net of strings that intersected as lightly as possible, and yet, here she is, crumpling them into a ball.
This is so beautifully phrased!

Russian heavies with crossbows (so medieval, she thinks, as an arrow whooshes by her ear)

WHEW!! You know, I actually started writing this the day you sent your sign-up in, because I was like, "Sun! Sark! Best prompt ever!" but I thought it majorly sucked, which is why I started trying to write the Jeeves one (which failed and has now turned into a completely other epic) with the idea that this could just be your sucky bonus fic. But now I think the other one sucks, so maybe that can be your sucky bonus fic instead ( ... )

Oh my God. Sark and Sun. SARK AND SUN.

Normally I just lurk on the fic comms, but I can't stay hidden for this. I have no words for how utterly, utterly awesome this is. I would never have put them together in my head, and yet you just showed how perfectly natural they are together.

Awwww, thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I would never have thought of them together either, but the second I saw that prompt I was like, "Yessssssss." The more I wrote, the more I was feeling the ship. Sun and Sayid being angstily spy-ish during the Oceanic Six time is always my favorite, and Sark is the best, so together they made for a really fun story to write. Thank you so so much for such a lovely comment!
