Emily is basically my favorite EVER and her POV was really well done here, very believable. And man, you didn't pull any punches - the story worked really well and now I just want to hug Emily and the team. D: oh man.

Thank you! I'm really glad the story worked for you--I ended up tinkering with it quite a bit, and I still wasn't sure whether it worked.

I love Emily too--she's definitely my favourite character on Criminal Minds. Which is probably why she ended up as my POV character two years in a row. :D

WOW. That is about a million times better than I was hoping for--I loved the twist where Emily found out her Mom was there, and then we find out what exactly the SGC is negotiating for ... brilliant, absolutely brilliant. (Wish this was at DW so I could use my Emily icon.)

Excellent little piece. I especially liked how you dealt with some of the moral issues involved in the Stargate universe, especially considering how rarely those issues were actually touched on in the show. I find in general outsider POVs are good for that and you did an excellent job capturing the BAU team as well.

I finally got a chance to read this! What a chilling story--both the murders and the negotiations for a biological weapon. It's strange--Cam is absolutely right that the average, thinking, compassionate human being would call you crazy for ever thinking genocide was the answer, but the stakes are so high on Stargate that they can't not consider it. Like Daniel says, necessity and regret.

Love Emily's POV and everyone's reaction--it feels solidly real and in character. Great job!

Thank you so much! I'm very glad you enjoyed it, and especially glad that you didn't think I was overly dark in my portrayal of SG1. I was a bit worried about trying to capture the horrible choices they face from an outside view without making them seem unsympathetic.
