Eric is such an ass. I loved all of his wise-guy cracks. And I liked this slightly snarkier side to Sookie. Her banter with Eric was wonderful. And I loved how Will could tell that something was definitely off about Eric, even though the whole "they're vampires!" thing didn't come up.
My favorite part was when they are singing and Sookie's reading Will's mind. It's such a lovely, peaceful moment for everyone in the story, and I loved the way you wrote her delving into his mind. I got the happy feeling from reading that section that I get from watching musicals, so bravo!
This was such a wonderful little random interaction on the road, where the two sets of characters helped one another out and brightened one another's days.

Eric is something that Alexander Skarsgard does so well despite most of the writers for TB not getting Eric AT ALL. he IS a crack-up/cut-up/smarmy SOB and i LOVES him.
thanks for your input in that little bit re: Sookie reading Will's mind - it works much better now.
glad you liked! huzzah! :oD
