Got home, grabbed paperwork and went to the bank. Paid bills. All of the bills, except for rent, are now caught up. Rent will get paid next week

Back when I was single, I used to come home from work, get the mail, pay any bills in it. It was great. I never worried about the bills or when anything was due.

Of course, after the first time I was laid off and I couldn't pay any bills for awhile, I got out of the habit.

I never got into the habit and it has been a goal of mine for a while. It looks as though I am closer to that goal!
