Monday Night
Got home, grabbed paperwork and went to the bank. Paid bills. All of the bills, except for rent, are now caught up. Rent will get paid next week.
So far this whole "grounded" thing is working. We pay rent for this month next week and then we pay rent for October on the 1st! What a concept.
Bills this month were all paid on time or early. Bills for October will all be paid by the 15th. So come November, we will actually be able to pay all of the bills when they come in. That's the plan anyway. We have had to adjust the budget every other day to accomodate all of the crap that comes up.
I've gotten into the habit of updating the budget every time any kind of financial transaction has been completed. It seems to be helping. I am not stressing about money right now - so that is a definite plus!
Last night after paying bills, Darren and I sat and played video games till 10pm. I got sucked in. So of course I am WAY tired this morning. At least I am functioning.
I have a goal for myself today at work. Let's see how well that goes.
