It is eleven o'clock. I have to get up in four and a half hours for work. Tomorrow is my first day back.. I wish I didn't have to go. I will love the interaction with people I've not seen since Sophia's birth but... I have to lose my days with her. At least we found a day care that we can trust and who were recommended to us.

We arrived at the hospital at seven am and they took us up to labor and delivery. They had me get into my gown then I was in the bed and hooked up to monitors. Eventually my doctor came in, Rampton, and we talked for a bit and he checked me. I had not dilated at all and my cervix was still far back. I had another doctor appointment on Wednesday. Rampton checked to see if I had dilated yet and I haven't. He did try to move my cervix forward just a bit and get a finger inside to swipe the membranes. It didn't work, I'm still so tightly closed. At least, I was on Wednesday. Sophia was breeched and at the beginning of the month we went into the hospital and had them turn her. I wrote this and I thought I would post it on my lj.

We were suppose to be at the hospital at 6:30am and when we got there we had to register so it took us a bit of time to get up to the labor and delivery floor. Once we got up there we were taken ( Read more... )

What I do mind is the fact that I have gotten about four phone calls in one day with the message being pretty much: We know it is your due date today and we haven't heard anything. We're worried. Will someone please explain to me why it matters what whites with no degree voted for? Or any others similar to that? Why the hell does that matter?
