I have a theory that the 10 day forecast at weather.com is a tool of population control. If we are in a fairly rainy period and have been for awhile, and are predicted to be for awhile longer the 10 day forecast will always show "relief" on the 10th day. Always. so it has rained for the past week, and it looks like it is going to rain all this week. Weather.com is predicting beautiful weather starting on Saturday and extending on indefinately.
