I keep a jar of peanut butter, easy mac, crackers and soup in my cube pretty consistently. That way if I forget my lunch I don't have to go buy one. Occasionally in the afternoons I get hungry though and I eat peanut butter out of the jar by the spoonful. I furtively hide behind the open door of my cabinet and shovel that shit in like a fat kid

Also, I agree with most of your analysis. I don't claim to be attempting a complete destruction of civilization, not by a long shot. I'll settle for always moving towards a directly democratic, worker-controlled, friendly-to-autonomy world. It's the pursuit that's the important part, not the oasis on the distance.

I've said for along time that the grumpy old person that is the hermit, lives within walking distance of their work and food supply, dosn't drive, and dosn't travel, is doing much more for the world then all the globetrotting activist types.(anarchists included).
