It's a thing, but I've found precious little of it myself, mostly because--kinkmeme aside--I really do not feel like wading through pages and pages of porno. There's a pretty good site here: http://paradevo.proboards.com/
It has a personals section if you literally meant you wanted to know where these people are, and a discussion section otherwise. But what I want is for XMFC fandom to have so much disabled!Charles romance that they're referring people to us!

Is it spamming if I'm just trying to put resources out there? There's a para devotee romance writer named Ruth Madison (http://www.ruthmadison.com/), and while I haven't read her books, she does reviews on Paradevo and seems to prefer stories that portray disability something unique about a person, rather than a bondage and humiliation thing. Not that I have a problem with that, ahem, I'm just coming at this kink from a different angle.
Anyway, she has this to say: "There are other reasons why some might find it taboo. How could we biologically and evolutionarily speaking have such a desire? Human sexuality is very complex and science has not yet pinned it down. Rather than seeing it as an attraction to something broken, see it as an attraction to something different (different, but just as valid). While for many people those with physical disabilities appear grotesque or disturbing, for devotees they do not."

Forgot to add: if I could write at all, I would write this. But since I can't, I will just beg the fandom to make it happen. I will beta read, I will illustrate it, I will illustrate something else for you, I will knit you a scarf, catsit for you, etc. I will pay you actual money.

Oh hai all! Remember when i said I was going to fill this? No? Oh well, I'll just leave this here anyways. And sorry if my German's not right, I've not gotten this far into the language and was just shooting blindly.
Erik smiles when he sees Charles push open the door with Raven trailing behind him. He looks down at the register and punches in the numbers for Charles’ and Raven’s usuals -- a carmel macchiato and a soy vanilla latte, respectively, and a croissant to share.
Somewhere in the back of Erik’s mind, the part that sounds like horrid mix between Emma and mama, he knows that it’s mildly creepy and borderline stalkerish that he knows it by heart and that he should care, but the smile that reaches past Charles’ baby blue eyes when he asks, ‘The usual?’ outweighs all the negatives and promptly derails the train of thought.
But today, when he looks back up to catch Charles’ eyes, he frowns. That normal sparkle of lifelovehulloi’mcharlesnicetomeetyou isn’t there

ME. TOO.
It was more of a 'Dude, really? Cool.'
*has been a paraplegic since the age of 5, and finds the lack of love for Charles' disability frustrating*
