Have you actually tried replacing the antenna on the Roady2 yet? I've had to replace mine before.

If you really do need a replacement, I would stick with the cheapest radio you can find, or else cancel your subscription. If you can't listen, there's no point in paying that monthly fee.

Sirius has been hurting for quite some time now...I love my Satellite radio, but I fear its a given, Old School FM radio is going to win this war and our satellite radio will dissapear. :'(

Well, for what it's worth, Chapter 11 means they're going to restructure their debts and try to continue to operate - Chapter 7 is a liquidation.

Having said that, my guess is that XM!Sirius will not survive the recession, and given their recent move to separate out an additional price for webcasting, a lot of folks (myself probably included) are going to be canceling over the next couple of months.

I'm hoping when they file, they'll get rid of all of the high-dollar personalities, all of the DJs, and maybe get back closer to how XM was a few years ago.

I don't know what I'll listen to if satellite is not available.

Slacker? Pandora? Live365? Last.fm? There's a ton of choices in internet space, and with several cities planning Wi-Max, Blaupunkt (and probably others) are planning internet radios for the car. So there's your choice, along with iPod, CDs, etc.

Crappy service is crappy service and should not be rewarded. If SiriusXM isn't willing to fix the mistakes and just keep alienating their 20-million customer fanbase, then they deserve to lose people, just as other companies have in the past and will probably do in the future.
