So here's what I've been doing lately...

First, I've got to share a couple of games with you:

If you're planning on getting rid of a lot of clothing - I would suggest either finding someone to take it from you instead of throwing it out. Let another person have the chance to find something they would like or could use and then decide what to do with the rest (and repeat the process with another person) - or consider donating it. The donation people are pretty good at knowing what is salvageable and could be given to the needy versus what should really be thrown out for good (until the hobos get to it).

Just a thought - my friends and I recently had a conversation regarding clothing donations to charity and it's a much more positive thing to do with clothes you don't want anymore.

Oh, yeah, I usually donate old clothes. I guess I said "throw away" because essentially I'm still getting rid of them, heh. Sometimes I throw away clothes if I think no one can wear them anymore, but if the people are pretty good at being able to tell what can still be worn, maybe I will just throw everything in a donation bag from now on.
