Making room in the pipes, missing San Fran

We're canceling our anniversary trip to San Francisco in February. Ryan has to go in for tonsil, throat, and sinus surgery in December. The weeks he'll be recovering will drain his time off bank. May take 6 weeks to recover. Even if he's better in time and can somehow work out the vacation situation, after dealing with that we'll just want a quiet

I've never been either, but Las Vegas is one of those spots I'd love to visit some time.

Issa fun!! Vegas is crazy, but interesting. I'm not much of a gambler, but every time I go to Vegas, I find things to see or do that have nothing to do with gambling.

Liberace museum, Pinball Hall Of Fame Museum...all sorts of fun!

If you do go to Vegas, you should see a Cirque du Soleil show. I'd recommend either LOVE or KA.

What all is he having done? I had my tonsils removed and my sinuses scraped out a few years back - the tonsils were by far the worst part. Nothing but liquids for a good week, and the pain was bad enough that I spent most of that week in a vicodin induced haze. Total recovery time was about two weeks. Also, I had taken so much pain medication that when I stopped taking it I had an unexpectedly awful withdrawal period of a couple of days.

I would think that he should be able to switch over to short term disability after a couple of weeks.
