Jetlag sucks.

Went to bed on Friday at 7 pm, woke up with a panicked WhereTheFuckAmI? at 9 pm. Woke up again at 11 pm, checked my computer. Woke up again at 2 am, couldn't sleep anymore. Showered, checked my LJ for for about 6 hours. Got extremely tired, went to bed again, slept for another two hours. Crawled out of bed, feeling like being run

Nein, wir haben das Geld gespart und waren gegenüber und haben uns nen Burger geholt. Zu mehr waren wir an dem Tag auch nicht mehr fähig. Irgendwie war dann die Luft raus.

Argh - Bei dem großen Verbotsschild am Pier wäre ich wahrscheinlich schon umgedreht und hätte den Pier garnicht erst betreten. Ich finde diese Aufzählung von Verboten furchtbar. Warum schreiben sie nicht einfach ein Schild: Zutritt verboten. Und damit hats sich.
Es ist ja niocht so, das ich die meisten Verbote nicht einsehen würde. aber, wie gesagt, es ist diese Aufzählung. Man kommt sich doch auch da, alles andere als willkommen vor. Und das Rauchverbot am Pier? Echt gestört. Ich bin kein raucehr und halte nichts vom Rauchen. Aber das ist im Freien. Last die Leute doch rauchen wenn sie wollen.

Ah Jetlag, I remember you well. And not fondly. :)
Still, the pics looks awesome and I`m green with envy. Beach, palm trees. And Vancouver looks so beautiful and sunny.

I liked Nevermore slightly better than I thought I would, too, but characterization still annoyed me - can we say one-note - and at least one OC was the type I want rip out of the book and beat to death with a crowbar. *g*

Yeah, we were extremely lucky and had constantly great weather. It only slightly rained two short times.

Well, the one thing that annoyed me was the "Sam hates the Impala" and "Dean loves the Impala more then Sam" thing... But the book had some really funny scene so far - which is more than I expect from tie-ins in general *g*

and at least one OC was the type I want rip out of the book and beat to death with a crowbar. *g*

Yeah, it had some fun stuff and for a tie-in I didn`t expect deep character insight but dear god in heaven, Dean will not dry-hump every old music album there is. And when did he turn hardcore alcoholic?

Sam was a bit MarySue for my taste. Yes, he is an awesome liar bla bla and the only one who knows Poe, also the only one really focused on the job. And unlike Dean he can figure out driving in New York. And this and that. Give me a break.

Also all the street descriptions and albus titles flew right over my head. Reminded me of Karl May with the fucking environmental descriptions that go on and on and on...

rofl. At least it's not that far fetched. I guess, I didn't mind all this stuff this much, because I give this author the same leeway I give any fanfic author: I don't expect them to stick 100% to canon. And because of the media transfer it would be hard to achieve it in this case without being completely boring anyway.
