Though, having you and Grant back at the Tempo Bistro again on my birthday would be a cool "bring the cycle around" sorta thing. But I so totally understand getting well rested, I surely do.

As for life, well, there have been days (weeks? months?) in the past year when Murphy's Law has used my life as a trampoline, times when I've felt like my life was starting to resemble a real-life Donner Party adventure, plagued by, in the words of Rasputina, "coincidental misfortune at every turn." However, these days, things have been looking up (knock on wood!), in large part due to a determination on my part to put the metaphysical blinders on and focus purely on applying elbow grease to each part of my life in need of polishing, regardless of all the distractions that the mundane world has to throw at me.
And you? What's new in your world?

On more mundane levels, life is pretty good! I'm living near Davis Square, have a big cuddly hellion of a cat named Sparticus (I didn't name him, but he lives up to it whenever he gets, um, "playful".), and am working a lot more on writing these days. Maybe sooner or later, I'll actually do something with it. Stranger things have happened!
