plus its not like they are doing it on purpose. they dont have any money. protesting isnt going to make money pop out of their asses. if you want to make a difference try donating to the school or starting fundraisers.

this crap of protesting cuz the school is mean wont do anyone any good.

wow you really have no faith in anything. We have to show the town how much this affects us. And its not cuz they dont have money, its cuz the ppl in this town are too greedy and dont wanna pay more in taxes, but if they knew better, they would know the money would come back to them when they sell their house because if its a good school, the property value goes up. If its a shit school, property value goes down.

well... alex is some what right... Protesting does nothing. All it will do is probably do is make it in the newspaper and show that a bunch of silly kids are trying to save the music programs. Bridgewater does not have enough money to keep the programs. And I have to agree with getting rid of it because the only way to keep it is by paying more taxes. And dude, our parents will go broke by paying all the stupid taxes for our stupid town. As much as I love music, I think everyone would be happier with less taxing. Plus, you don't even participate in the music program.. why should it matter? A bunch of my friends this year quit before they even knew about it. They said they could careless because they hated our school music program. Everyone has different opinions. Maybe when we're older and paying our own taxes... we'd probably think the same way as our parents about this whole situation. Just my opinion...

It's not public school when you're paying both taxes for school and providing your own activities out of school. If towns want kids to pass the MCAS and graduate, we can't if we're not receiving funds. Sports isn't the big picture. We can't even afford more teachers so therefore we have classes of 40 kids. That's the issue but it is covered up by sports. In the end, we're screwed. Well everyone else cause I'm off to college in a year and I won't be living in these towns when I have kids!
