plus its not like they are doing it on purpose. they dont have any money. protesting isnt going to make money pop out of their asses. if you want to make a difference try donating to the school or starting fundraisers.

this crap of protesting cuz the school is mean wont do anyone any good.

wow you really have no faith in anything. We have to show the town how much this affects us. And its not cuz they dont have money, its cuz the ppl in this town are too greedy and dont wanna pay more in taxes, but if they knew better, they would know the money would come back to them when they sell their house because if its a good school, the property value goes up. If its a shit school, property value goes down.

well... alex is some what right... Protesting does nothing. All it will do is probably do is make it in the newspaper and show that a bunch of silly kids are trying to save the music programs. Bridgewater does not have enough money to keep the programs. And I have to agree with getting rid of it because the only way to keep it is by paying more taxes. And dude, our parents will go broke by paying all the stupid taxes for our stupid town. As much as I love music, I think everyone would be happier with less taxing. Plus, you don't even participate in the music program.. why should it matter? A bunch of my friends this year quit before they even knew about it. They said they could careless because they hated our school music program. Everyone has different opinions. Maybe when we're older and paying our own taxes... we'd probably think the same way as our parents about this whole situation. Just my opinion...

just because i dont take part in music, doesnt mean i cant be a part of it. if i believe its wrong, im gonna stand up for whats right, thats the way i'm brought up. and if we dont stand up for ourselves, whos gonna stand up for us? cuz the town doesnt. we built a fire station that cant run, and the town doesnt want to bring in any business. If they did, we'd have a lot more money.

I agree with the not paying more taxes. Because yes, parents will lose a lot of money. And plus, if you really love music, you could find someplace else to have a music program where everyone won't have to pay more taxes. I mean, what about the people who's parents don't go to BR or anything? Do they count to? I don't understand these things but still, I think it's wrong to have to pay more taxes when you can independently study your own interests, you don't need school for that.
