1. Godmodding, metagaming, and powerplay are not permitted. Due to the nature of the game, this rule is incredibly important; more information can be found below.
2. Asian entertainment only! The character limit for each mun is four (4). If however you wish to claim more than that, speak with the mods - if your current muses are all active, we will consider it. Please do not claim multiple members from the same group or band.
3. OOC issues should be strictly kept out of IC interactions.
4. Activity checks will be conducted by
secretary_x once per calendar month. Each muse will be required to respond individually. Additionally, individual blogs must be updated a minimum of twice a month.
5. Avoid cross-claiming with Livejournal accounts. It's confusing and annoying for everyone involved. Please make a separate username. (And, if you use Firefox, install
ljlogin - it's a lifesaver!)
6. Every muse must have an AIM account. Chatrooms for comm-wide events will be situated in AIM. However, for other scenes, muses utilise
xq_rp to set up threads (this way, muses can scene together even if their muns live in different timezones). AIM chatlogs may also be posted in the RP comm.
7. Pregnancy plots will be disallowed on the grounds that mutant pregnancies are difficult and confusing to handle. Character death is strictly forbidden.
School Rules
1. Students must never use their abilities to harm another student.
2. Students must never use their abilities in order to cheat in classes or on exams or tests.
3. Students are expected to be polite to their elders, including upperclassmen.
4. Due to our acceptance policy, the official school language is English. All students must be able to communicate in this language. However, they are free to talk among peers in their native language(s).
A Special Note on Godmodding
Given the nature of this game, the guidelines related to godmodding, metagaming, and powerplay are extremely important. In the environment this game is created in, it is important for muns to take into consideration the abilities of the muses they are playing with. For example, a Beta-level telepath will sometimes hear thoughts without meaning to. A Gamma-level telepath will most likely hear thoughts all the time.
The muns of Beta- and Gamma-level muses whose powers will affect other muses should map out definite boundaries with other muns. Similarly, muns should be aware that Beta- and Gamma-level muses will not always be in control of their powers. As in most RPs, godmodding, metagaming, and powerplay are considered intolerable and are expressly forbidden. With that said, however, complaints about Gamma-level telepaths reading everyone's every thought will be duly ignored.
