The following is a list of currently-known mutations. When choosing a power for your muse, you can select from this list or create your own.


Accelerated healing
See healing factor.

Acid generation
The ability to generate acid. Can be manifested through touch or as a liquid spray.

Adoptive muscle memory
The ability to replicate any physical action after seeing it performed once.

Air and wind manipulation
The ability to generate, control, or absorb air or wind.

Animal communication
The ability to communicate with animals on a psionic level. May be able to influence animals to the will of the user.

Animal morphing
The ability to take on animal forms. May be able to take on the abilities of the altered form.

Animation
The ability to bring inanimate objects to life.

Astral projection
The ability to separate and control an individual's astral body.

Biological manipulation
The ability to control aspects of a living creature's biological make-up. Can include genetic alterations, physical distortion and augmentation, healing, and even the bestowing of disease.

Bone manipulation
The ability to manipulate the bones in the individual's own body. Can include the generation of new bone mass, rearrangement of bones, or projecting bones out from the skin.

Classical elements
The ability to control or manipulate the elements.

Cold and ice manipulation
The ability to reduce the kinetic energy of atoms, thus reducing temperature. Can be used to generate, control, or absorb ice.

Dimensional transportation
The ability to create wormholes, portation "discs", or other spatial portals for transport between two non-adjacent locations.

Disintegration
The ability to disintegrate matter through touch.

Domination
See mind control.

Duplication
See self-replication.

Earth manipulation
Ability to control earth; sand, stone, rock, lava, dirt, or other minerals.

Ecological empathy
The ability to sense the overall well-being and conditions of the individual's immediate environment and natural settings. Stems from a psychic connection or sensitivity to nature.

Eidetic memory
The ability to quickly memorise and recall any information with perfect accuracy in unlimited volume.

Elasticity
The ability to stretch, deform, expand or contract one's body into any form they can imagine.

Electric manipulation
The ability to generate, control or absorb electric fields.

Elemental transmutation
The ability to alter chemical elements, changing them from one substance to another by rearranging the atomic structure. May be limited to self-transmutation.

Empathy
The ability to psionically sense and control the emotions of others.

Energy blasts
The ability to expel various forms of energy from the body.

Energy constructs
The ability to create complex shapes (such as cages) or even functional machinery out of solid energy.

Energy conversion
The ability to absorb one form of energy and convert it to another form of energy.

Energy sourcing
The ability to draw power from large (or small, but abundant) sources of energy, such as turning kinetic energy or solar energy into other forms, such as physical blasts. Can be based on proximity to the source or absorbed and stored for future use.

Flight
The ability to lift off the ground, to ride air currents or to fly self-propelled through the air.

Force field generation
The ability to project powerful fields of manipulated energy.

Gravity manipulation
The ability to manipulate or generate gravitons.

Healing factor
The ability to heal rapidly from any injury; the rate of recovery varies from person to person. Individuals with healing factor have been shown to successfully live through atomic bomb blasts. This mutation can sometimes result in the slowing of the aging process.

Heat and fire manipulation
Ability to increase the kinetic energy of atoms, thus increasing temperature. Can be used to generate, control or absorb fire.

Illusion casting
The ability to create realistic illusions. These may be limited to visible manifestations that affect only sight, or so total that they encompass all of the senses and cannot be distinguished from reality.

Immortality
The inability to age normally.

Innate capability
The ability to naturally have skills and/or knowledge typically earned through learning.

Inorganic transformation
The ability to transform entirely into an inorganic substance while retaining organic properties.

Intangibility
The ability to pass through solid matter without harm.

Invisibility
The ability to render the user unseeable to the naked eye.

Invulnerability
The ability to be immune to one or more forms of physical damage. Can be always present or based on need (ie. the perceived danger of the current situation).

Light manipulation
The ability to control, generate or absorb light particles.

Liquification
The ability to turn partially or completely into a liquid.

Magnetism manipulation
The ability to control and generate magnetic fields.

Mediumship
The ability to see and communicate with the dead (ie. ghosts).

Memory manipulation
The ability to erase or enhance the memories of another, or to give false memories.

Microwave manipulation
The ability to generate and manipulate microwave radiation.

Mind control
The ability to alter the perceptions of others or to control the actions of others.

Night vision
The ability to see clearly in the dark.

Omni-lingualism
The ability to instantly understand and be able to communicate in any form of language.

Phasing
See intangibility.

Pheromone manipulation
The ability to generate and control pheromones.

Plant manipulation
Ability to control, manipulate, or animate all forms of plant life.

Poison generation
The ability to generate one or more varieties of toxins. Can be manifested through touch or as a liquid spray.

Probability manipulation
The ability to alter probability, causing unlikely things to happen or likely things not to happen.

Psionic blast
The ability to link to another's mind and overload it, causing pain, memory loss, lack of consciousness, vegetative state, or death.

Power absorption
The ability to temporarily copy or absorb another's powers or skills. Can be based on proximity to the subject or on physical contact.

Power augmentation
The ability to temporarily enhance or weaken the powers of others. Can be based on proximity to the subject or on physical contact.

Power mimicry
See power absorption.

Power negation
The ability to temporarily cancel out the superpowers of others. Can be based on proximity to the subject or on physical contact.

Precognition
The ability to perceive the future. Can be expressed through dreams, in flashes, or at will. Can be clear in meaning or vague.

Premonition
See precognition.

Psychic armour
The ability to create armour made of psychic energy.

Psychic weapons
The ability to create a weapon of psychic energy that harms mentally rather than physically.

Psychometry
The ability to perceive the past or future conditions of an object or location. This is usually based on proximity to the subject.

Reactive adaptation
The ability to temporarily develop whatever power or ability is needed for the current situation.

Reactive evolution
The ability to temporarily develop a resistance or immunity to whatever danger the individual is exposed to.

Reality warping
The ability to change or manipulate reality itself.

Self-detonation
The ability to explode one's body mass and reform at will.

Self-replication
The ability to create physical duplicates of oneself.

Shadow manipulation
The ability to create or manipulate dark energy.

Shapeshifting
The ability to change appearance or body structure.

Shedding
The ability to shed change the physical composition of the body by shedding skin.

Size shifting
The ability to increase or decrease one's size.

Sonic scream
The ability to generate vocal sounds of a much higher amplitude than a normal human.

Sublimation
The ability to transform into a gaseous, mist-like, or fog-like form.

Substance mimicry
The ability to transform into any touched substance.

Summoning
The ability to summon objects or beings for assistance. This may range from invoking simple implements to mighty familiar spirits.

Superhuman breath
The ability to inhale/exhale with superhumanly powerful strength. This can range from inhalation of par with the power of a gravitational vortex to exhalation on par with gale force winds. In some cases, freezing temperatures can also be achieved upon exhalation.

Superhuman senses
The ability to see, smell, taste, feel, and/or hear more - and better - than a normal human.

Superhuman speed
The ability to move at speeds much faster than a normal human.

Superhuman strength
The ability to have a level of physical strength much higher than normally possible given the individual's proportions.

Technopathy
The ability to manipulate technology. May be manifested as electrical/telekinetic manipulation, a form of morphing that allows physical interaction with machines, or even a psychic ability allowing for mental interfacing with computer data.

Telekinesis
The ability to manipulate and control objects with the mind.

Telepathy
The ability to read the thoughts of, or to mentally communicate with others.

Teleportation
The ability to move from one place to another without occupying the space in between.

Temporal duplication
The ability to bring past and future versions of oneself to the present time.

Time manipulation
The ability to affect the flow of time by slowing, accelerating, reversing, or even stopping it.

Time travel
The ability to travel back or forth through time.

X-ray vision
The ability to see through solid matter.

Wall-crawling
The ability to adhere to and scale vertical surfaces without the need of hand or footholds.

Water and moisture manipulation
The ability to generate, control, or absorb water.

Waterbreathing
The ability to gain oxygen through water in lieu of a gaseous medium.

Weather manipulation
The ability to control or mentally affect the weather. This includes the ability to generate various natural phenomena (eg. rain, tornadoes, lightning, ocean currents, etc.) or control the intensity of the weather.
