Ever look at the increments of time tied to things and you just want to flip? 26 years of life? 8 years since highschool? Driving for 10 years? 3 months with glaswegian_took ? They all are measurements for things transcended and still flowing through the veins almost all of them seem like miscalculations when I know they are true. It is like stepping on a scale

Ha Ha. When you're feeling "old", just compare yourself to me (out of high school since spring 1985, driving since 1984, last date with a girl in 1989, etc.). You'll suddenly realize how young you are. :-)

I really don't feel that aged. Sometimes I think I under estimate the changes age has brought over me though. I think most of my friends defy their own age in various ways.

All of this is but a lightning strike. It is already over. It is fortunate that our minds can create some order so that we can enjoy the lightning strike. What I am trying to say is, time is our friend that makes it so we can have this experience. Try not to dwell too much on time lost. Enjoy the ride. You have new love and hopefully decades more to loose your present self in.
