In Chile my mom told me that some people were evacuating for the waves that will arrive as a consequence for the tsunami... but nothing happened.

Sometimes I believe the media exaggerates the things, is ok to prepare people for bad things that could come, but in most cases the people gets too afraid.

I have the plain tickets for Australia!!!
I´m leaving my country on March 3, and my house it is completely upside down with suitcases (that I´m taking with me)and boxes (that they are staying here)everywhere.

I´ll be returning to Chile on June....

Eating my nails and crossing fingers.... I have to recover my passport on february 1º, when the australian embassy will tell me if I my visa was accepted, BUT! my stay in that country will be for only three months, then I have come back to Chile and postulate again (for an indefinite time).
