[Reki is at a desk with his book out. Despite being the maintainer of the computer lab, he rarely uses a computer, preferring his own mutation and book combination. He does help anyone who needs a hand and also tries to keep everything in working order.]

[It seems he's looking up origami folding directions on one screen and historical fiction novels on another.]

[Reki just happens to look up and sees the computers go crazy. He stares at one, trying to will it to turn off, but it doesn't answer. That part of Reki's technopathy is often weaker than other technopaths.]

[Oh god, not again. He starts using his book and remotely accesses a few of the computers to see what's going on. If Jack is somehow behind this (which he hopes isn't the case) or Sheppard (which he really hopes isn't the case) Reki quits.]

[Lily is free to notice that her whistling doesn't effect his book or the holo-screens it generates. Yay, remnants of reality warper powers?]

[He's there, minding his own business. Being in a room full of computers helps him be at ease, and at least a sort of place of refuge, especially after all that talk about having a dance class that's mandatory.]

[He's not doing much at all.. except using three different computers at the same time, just surfing the net, doing some research Wondering about that fucked up phone call he received that involved his past, and trying to pin down their GPS signal without much success, and coding a new app for his phone.]

[Oh hey. Reki recognizes this student from the hotel. Considering most of the students from that time have left or are under emotional stress or insanity... Well, Reki takes that to mean he should check on him.]

[A holo-screen appears by Reki and flies to above one of the three monitors Fujimaru is using. It hovers like a pane of glowing translucent glass.]

[Words appear on the screen.] Hello. How are you?

[Of course, Reki was going to use a technopath way to get Fujimaru's attention. Fujimaru looked like he was doing something, so if he was busy, Reki wouldn't disturb him.]

[Reki still doesn't understand the entirety of his mutation, but considering the number of technopaths (who are usually hackers in Reki's mind), it is a perk that his book and screens seem immune to their interference.]

A lot of work that's usually frustrating to some degree.
