{Gray wandered into the danger room, looking around a little wide-eyed at the place. It looked... really kind of cool. He was really excited to finally be able to show off a little. He generally didn't get too cocky about his powers, they weren't anything spectacular but... well, it was just plain fun and he hadn't really been able to use them for combat in a while. He needed more practice, that was for sure. His entire style centered around control and manipulation.

He nodded to Teej, giving a small wave and a smile. Well... here goes. He began undressing, tossing his shirt aside, kicking off his shoes and dropping his pants. This... was just normal okay? Habit. A bad one, but it was how he trained.

Once comfortable he slid his feet into a stance, bringing his hands up in front of him and breathing deep. Now lets see... what to do...}

[Oooookay so the stripping thing was a little weird. But as long as he wasn't doing anything that could get her in trouble for it she would let him do his thing. She's not exactly the type to be uncomfortable about semi-nudity.]

{Hey, don't knock it till you've tried it. His teacher was a little insane okay? He stopped at his boxers though, so a guy can get away with that much at least.}

Yup, {He pressed his fist against his palm, breathing out. The air shifted around him and his breath could be seen as the temperature dropped significantly. The chill became more sharp as his moved his fingers and the room filled with an icy mist.}

Ice Make! {Okay so, calling out his attacks was kind of silly but it was stuff he was taught to do.} SWORD!

{Lo and behold the ice shot forth from his hands as he drew it back to his side, creating a long sword. He swung it around to demonstrate it's balance, you could hear it slice the air as it went. He then shoved it against the floor to demonstrate how hard it was. Just like the real thing. He then dismissed it and it dissipated into a glittery frost. He clapped his hands together, wind kicking up around him in a blistery cold.}

ICE MAKE! {He then slammed his palms to the floor.} GEYSER! {The room shook and erupted in a

[Alfred is floating about looking a bit bored. He mostly has control of his powers, so what if he still throws a bit too hard? Or a lot too hard.]

[Oh, hey, another flyer. Grins at.] Hey, are you new? I haven't seen you around before.

I guess so? I've only been here for a little bit. I'm Colette! It's nice to meet you!

[ ... really, when it comes down to it, my abilities aren't that impressive. ]

[This one isn't looking terribly confident. Reassuring smile.] So, what have you got for me today?

[ he hesitates a little, but then hands over a piece of paper with a story he'd written. ]

It's nothing impressive.

[ his mutation involves affecting people's emotions based on the tone he writes in. the story he's written displays a variety of different tones; the first being angry (a boy is angry at the world, he asks why the world continues to wrong him ...), then sadness (depression, suicidal thoughts ...), and then a happy ending (a dear friend helps him through his hard time, and there is renewed hope instilled within the boy).

it's a well-written piece. he's good at that. but Konoha's seen some of the other mutations, and he's suddenly wishing he had something a little more to show. ]

[Derrick is standing by a wall with his turned off MP3 player in his hands. This is the only one of his powers he knows how to practice. The others... he's not sure at all.]

[Oh look another nervous one. She heads over.] Looks like you're up next. What's your name?

[Looks up when he hears her start to come over]

Uh, Derrick Williams...

Derrick, ok. [Checks you off on her roster.] What do you want to show me today? Whatever you're comfortable with.

[Riku looks rather like he'd prefer to be anywhere but here, but when the powers that be all but insist, there's not much he can really do about it.]

[Have a glowy thing fly past Riku and into a light bulb, causing it to briefly glow brighter for a second before returning to normal]

[Riku jumps a bit as the glowy thing goes whizzing by, and just sort of stares blankly at it's final destination.]

Was it supposed to do that.

[nods] Don't know all the details yet, but yeah.

[He kinda expected something a lot more brighter though.]
