[Yeah, Jim's not in the best of moods. Alarm never went off, so he was late. School work was left behind. Ridiculed in front of plenty of other students... yeah not a good day at all. So he heads down to the kitchen to find something to eat.]

[Checks the fridge, and there's some extra milk in there! He takes out the carton, and checks for some glasses. Finding two, he pours out some for him and some for her. He smiles as he offers her the glass.]

[takes the glass with a grateful smile]

I can't believe I didn't think of getting milk. [laughs quietly] It really has been a long time since I've baked.

[silveradotides]

How long?

[suiseiaquaria]

Mm... a couple of years at this point. I got so focused with school, and my mother was so busy with work we just never really baked anymore.

[silveradotides]

[He nods, understanding where she's been.]

Yeah, I know what you mean. Busier life gets, the less time there is for.. anything sometimes.

[He holds up his half eaten cookie to her, and smiles.]

Still, going by how these are I get the feeling you haven't lost yer touch.

I guess I haven't. [she laughs quietly, going to switch out the current batch in the oven for the last tray]

Which is good to know. If I should ever fail as a doctor I can fall back on making cookies!

[silveradotides]

[Laughter is always infectious, whether laughed quietly or boisterously. In this case, Jim also laughs quietly.]

I'd gladly help fund that dream... might need a doctor from all the cookies though...

[Ami snorts a little, hiding it behind her hand]

I don't think its scientifically possible to overdose on cookies!

[The snort he wasn't expecting, causing Jim to laugh a tad more. Almost choked on his own words before he said them too!]

Aw c'mon! Keep making them this good and we'll find out! People satisfied all across the school...

[He laughs a bit more as he trails off.]

Well...

if you want to get technical about it, you CAN die from over-expansion of the stomach. But I don't encourage you to try that!
