[Going back home for a while and returning to the institute had made Ami strangely nostalgic. It had been years since she'd made those sugar cookies her mom taught her to make when she was little, but she still remembered the recipe exactly as it was meant to be, right down to the hatch-marked glass bottom used to make the pattern on the top.
So far there was already two trays made, one in the oven, and another she was working on, humming along with her music player and the headphones in her ears.
Anyone passing by was likely to be lured in to the kitchen by the wonderful scent of warm cookies.]
