Izaya was wandering near the classrooms when he heard the music playing. Upon investigating, he spotted the teacher arranging her classroom. Although he knew he was way too early for class, he stood in the doorway and swayed slightly, in time with the music.

"Lightening the atmosphere?" He remarked, admiring some of the flowers near the door.

Anna jumped a little bit from what she was doing and turned to her student, smiling at him.

"Yes, I fell it is necessary to do so. It was so dull and boring before I started." She answered the last part with a laugh.

He returned her smile with a light smirk. "I agree. Dreadfully dull." Izaya said, gesturing around the room. "If only more teachers would give their classrooms a personal touch..."

It wasn't often Izaya said something and truly meant it, but now was one of those times. It was the same as eating a meal somebody else had prepared; it told Izaya something about the other person, and he loved learning about people.

Anna gave him a look of interest. "I'm the only one? Goodness, that's odd." She said as she placed another pot of flowers onto a stool. She grabbed a package of those star stickers that you put on the ceiling and glow in the dark, opening them and stepped on the desk to put them up.

"I can't possibly teach in a dull classroom, especially this subject." Anna said as she put more on the ceiling.

Derrick wandered into the Telepathy and Empathy classroom Wed. afternoon after returning from the hotel and his side trip. Someone had told him his teacher had changed. Class professors changed a lot; it was just a fact at this school. Derrick couldn't deny he was partially glad for the change. It gave him an out for a month's work he had missed for various reasons, some out of his control. At least Derrick had one class he wouldn't have to struggle to catch up in, especially when this class had been so hard for him when he had been.

But the music empath hadn't expected the classroom to have changed like this. He stood at the door looking into the room, amazed, and listening to the music.

Anna stopped what she was doing and looked over at the door, smiling at her other student.

"Hello there!"

Oh. She noticed him. Derrick walked further into the classroom, looking around more as he did. "Uh, hello. I'm Derrick Williams. I'm in the class."

Anna smiled once more. "Hello Derrick, I'm Ms. Irving." she said in her gentle voice as she got up.
