Characters: ANYONE AND EVERYONE EVER
Location: Housing Development project for a rather flattened area in New York state. There were some weird guys in green suits and masks trying to capture Hulk. They failed but caused a lot of property damage which they did not pay for.
Time: Thursday - Most of the Day, students involved got let off their classes

Matthew wasn't great with tools or any such things, but what he was good with was helping out everywhere else. He had a small table set up and in coolers were the ingredients for sandwiches and some veggie platters for those less inclined to the sandwiches. He'd definitely been trying to include everyone's likes and dislikes in this food spread.

Under the table were some foam chests full of drinks and a water cooler was set off to the side on a chair. Hopefully, he had thought of everything.

Toph was one of the staff along to help the kids. She's also been using her earth powers to establish foundations for the houses and make sure they were stable. Of course, that had been earlier, now she was mostly standing back and feeling the bustle of the students across the ground. They were making good work as far as she could tell. She hoped the people watching appreciated this.

"Hey Matt," she said, knowing who it was behind the table. "Got a bottle of water to spare?"

Matthew had to duck under the table to pull out their chest of water.

"Here you go Ms. Toph. Do you think we have anyone with ice powers here today? This ice is melting kind of fast." He tucked the lid back on securely and nestled it back in the shade. He came out from behind the table to hand over the bottle of water and survey what was going on.

"It's coming along nicely really." He was sure to stay back a few paces after he'd given her the bottle, vaguely aware that her being able to 'see' anything had something to do with her powers.

"We might, I haven't run into any of them yet," Toph replied, taking a moment to read the earth and see if she sensed Bobby nearby. It didn't seem like he was here so she shrugged. "I could send one of the other students to go pick up some more ice if you want." She took the bottle of water from him with a nod of thanks, twisting of the top.

Toph drank a lot of it before making a sound of relief. You never realized how thirsty you were until you actually took a drink. "Yeah, you guys are doing a lot of hard work out here. It was a good idea, I think."

She raised an eyebrow, she hadn't really spoken to Matt or his brother since the incident with Grimmjow, "How've you been lately?"

Virgil was happy to be helping out the community. He knew his Pops would be proud of him because he was always going on about community service. Not only was it good for the community, but it looked good on college apps too. Plus, it was better than just sitting around the school all day.

Virgil drove the nail further into the board with his hammer. While he could have used his powers to help the work go along faster, it felt better to just do it by hand.

Of course, that didn't stop him from charging a bucket of nails and using his electromagnetic pull to get it to come closer.

It was a new experience, sure - when the call had come to help put this neighborhood back together, J had decided to come. He was no great shakes at construction, but he could pound a nail in and he figured one more person helping was better than nothing

Eli was pretty excited to get started--inasmuch as he ever got excited. He figured it might be easier if he got a group of them working together as a team.

"Hey," he called out. "Anyone not doing anything that wants to help?"
