He stepped in front of her and offered his hand. "How about a tour?" He smirked a bit at the girl.

"Do you think they will come after me here?" she asked. She didn't want the other students or the adults here to get hurt because someone came after her. Nevermind that she was too scared to talk to most of them.
There was a nice desk in the dorm she could hide under!

As she was wandering the halls and trying to figure out a way to spin this before the time zones matched up and she got the inevitable phone call, she spotted a girl sitting quietly outside of Mr. Kennedy's office. The poor thing looked so skittish just sitting there, Nakuru decided to do her a favor and take her mind off of whatever was making her so nervous.
"Hi there!" she said brightly, crouching down a little so they were at eye level with each other. "I don't believe I've seen you around here before. What's your name?"
((OOC: Potentially causing time paradoxes by alluding to events that haven't yet fully played out? Sounds like fun to me! XD))

"Ah..." Then she quickly snapped to attention. "My name is Manuela."

She glanced toward the nameplate on the door, then looked back at the other girl. "So what are you doing waiting outside Mr. Kennedy's office? You don't look like the kind of girl to get in trouble with him... Are you hiding a wild side?" she teased.

"It's very nice to meet you," she said. "Leon is actually someone I know. Ah, a friend of mine. He has been helping me get used to this school."

"Hey," he said, stopping to peer at her. She looked terrified. "You okay?"

She sounded Colombian or Amparan, maybe even Venezuelan. Wherever it was, he probably had an uncle there.
Reply
"Ah, I am from Amparo," she answered. "Near a village called Mixcoatl."
