[Spin was getting a little better at listening to the Music. Specifically, he recognized J's approaching tune and glanced to the door a moment before the knock came. The fact that the two of them spent enough time together for the older boy's tune to be ingrained into Spin's memory helped, too. Well, at least he didn't jump from surprise and look like a dork, like usual.]

Uh--Yeah, I--I mean no, not busy, I'm here, hold on.

[Instead of continuing to call through the door, Spin made the logical decision to go and open the door. J sounded a bit pensive, and that of course made Spin even more nervous.]

Um, hey--what's up?

[Man this kid is just a bundle of nerves, huh. All the more reason to ask him. He headed through the door and closed it behind him, leaning easily against the wall. Might as well get right to it]

Not much. Hey, you got any plans for break?

[Oh right. Christmas break... He'd known people would be leaving for that, but since J had stuck around for Thanksgiving, he'd forgotten he'd probably leave for Christmas. He'd have to go shopping sooner than he was planning.]
