Trowa had been intending to find a quiet, isolated place to shift back to human when a flowerpot impacted the wall above and just before his head. Ears flattening, he cautiously stepped forward and peered around the island's corner to see what was going on.
Seeing the animal out of the corner of her vision, she took a step back. There was no way Sanji would let an animal into his kitchen unless he were cooking it, it must have sneaked in when no one was looking.
"Get out of here!" Throwing a dishrag at the animal, she hoped to scare it away. It never even crossed her mind it could be a student, it just seemed like a stray that had wandered onto the property.
He stepped lightly out of the dishrag's way, catching it in his mouth and rearing to set it on a counter, in lieu of trying and probably failing to hook it over an oven door's handle or something similar.
Now he could place her. This was the girl who had responded to Gossip Girl, Duo's apparent ex-girlfriend. Seemed that this told him everything he needed to know about her knowledge of Duo and Hiiro's relationship.
Tilting her head slightly, she peered at the strange dog. "So what...are you a teachers pet or something? You're too smart to be a stray."
Lowering herself to sit on the floor, she held a hand out for him...her...it. Maybe it was wearing a collar, she could take it back to whoever it belonged to. "Come here, You're too pretty to stay in here."
Tall, blond and concerned from the few students who had stopped him mentioning a very angry looking student headed toward the kitchen area, made fast tracks (literally) to the area. He slowed down when he got there, looking into any adjoining rooms, he's new, not too entirely aware of where everything is.
One of the final rooms in the kitchen area he checked finally yielded a broken potted plant and a broken hearted girl from the looks of it, "Miss..?"
Not thinking, she threw another pot in the direction the voice came from. "Leave me alone!" As far as she was concerned, she didn't need anyone right now, people would only be in her way.
"Whoa!" Jean dodged it easily, he'd been known to have more dangerous things tossed in his direction. She was obviously distraught for that matter.
"Alright, well I can't rightly do that, Miss. Gotta make sure you're not gonna send anyone inta th'medic. Y'wanna have a seat and .." ohho. He recognized from the link on that anonymous news letter.
"C'mon kid, sit down," His voice was pleasant enough and well intended. There was also a 'because its for the best for both of us' ring to his ...request.
Shaking her head, she leaned back against the counter. "I won't send anyone to the medic if I'm just left alone, now will I?" There was a distinct sneer to her voice that promised pain if he came any closer.
"I don't exactly feel like sitting down, so if that's all you're here for, you can just go somewhere else." She had to keep moving, had to keep busy. At least until she could break away from the rest of the school for a bit.
The kitchen, being a large and certainly well visited area of the school, had various entrance by which to access the spacious room full of wonderful smells and things to eat. Luffy, having been one of the kitchen's finest attendants, was more than familiar with all of these entrances, but had decided that, for today, he would try the window, just for change's sake. It had been a little while since he had said hello to the school's chef, after all; five hours, at least, and that was nearly a record
( ... )
Growling lowly as she turned, she prepared to throw flower pot at him...until she saw it was just a kid...albeit a slinky kid.
"Get out of here, it's none of your business if I like them or not." Though for now, we'll go with not. The flower pot she was holding soon met the fate of the one before it.
Sanji would probably kill her for this mess, she was just beyond caring about that now.
Luffy simply watched her cast the second flower pot without doing anything at all in the way of stopping her; he found it mildly interesting how the pot shattered and the mud flew everywhere but the flower somehow stayed intact, joining its sibling in the pile of mess on top of one of the previously spotless workstations.
"Really? Oh well, okay then..." He finished pulling himself in through the window, picking himself up onto his feet before wandering over to the kitchen table, looking around to see if he could see his culinary friend, who really was his friend, even if he acted kind of grumpy.
"Well, if you're having fun I guess that's alright." He stated this as he looked under the table, which would obviously be a plausible place to find the blond-haired chef.
Seeing him look under the table, she gave an exasperated sigh. "What are you doing? If you're looking for something I'm pretty sure Mr. Sanji would have already taken it." The man was certainly efficient in making sure his kitchen was clean.
Deciding not to say anything about the fun comment. She looked the boy over, he certainly stood out. Leaning against the counter, she picked up one of the dish rags, picking at it absently.
Congratulations, Temari, you've made enough noise to bring one of your favorite people out to investigate: Chief of Security. He frowns and makes his way round the corner to the kitchen door, picking over bits of broken plant pot.
Seeing him walk into the room, she couldn't help the sneer that crossed her features. Who did he think he was?!
"It's none of your business what's going on. If you must know, I thought a little redecorating was in order." She knew she was being overly sarcastic, maybe he'd leave her alone if she was.
He surveys the scene carefully, then hesitates and tries to keep his voice calming.
"Temari, right? The problem is, it kinda is my business. And if we're going to keep you out of trouble, I'm going to need to understand whats gone wrong here."
Liz never cared much for gossiping; she thought it was a waste of time and energy to be concerned about the "supposed" scandals of other people's lives. What they did in their own time was strictly their business. That's why she couldn't stand the reporters that slandered her for being a mutant after that fateful race. She even had less tolerance for this Gossip Girl deal.
Who the hell would be deranged enough to come up with that kind of garbage? And more importantly, who would bother taking this idiot's words seriously?. She chose to never consider otherwise, perhaps for her own sake.
Hungry, she made her way to the kitchen for a snack. When she got there, at worst, she expected to find nothing edible to eat, not for a fuckin' clay pot to nearly take off her head. "HOLY SHIT!"
While Liz was relieved that there wasn't a second pot flying at her head, she wasn't feeling tone of the other girl's voice. She didn't do anything to warrant any rudeness.
With a slight glare, her reply was more akin a back off warning. "I just came for a snack. Nothing more than that."
Grinning, she turned to face the other girl, leaning back against a counter. "Pity. You almost seemed interesting, I guess that was too much to hope for though."
She was itching for a fight, she just wasn't one to ask strangers to spar.

"If you think I'm going to confide all my problems in you, you have another thing coming. For all I know you're a spy for that Gossip Bitch."
To say she didn't trust anyone right now would be an understatement.
