Pamela had agreed to meet Spock outside to show him what she knew about photosynthesis. It was fascinating that instead of being a human mutant, Spock was an actual alien and it also made Pamela realize exactly how much knowledge she took for granted. For a person who didn't grow up on earth, so many things would be completely new.
"Hi," she greeted with a wave as she arrived. "Ready to look at some plant life? I can even grow some different kinds of fruit and vegetables if there were certain kinds you wanted to try and didn't get the chance to."
Botan, too, had felt that she needed to actually brush up on her knowledge of photosynthesis. So she had checked out another book, and was looking through it as she walked.
Spock looked up at the two girls and greeted them with the appropriate hello as is the human custom. "I hope neither of you mind that I invited the other, since we are all interested in botany. If you haven't met, Pamela this is Botan, Botan this is Pamela, and I am Spock. Now that the introductions are over, are you ready?" Spock said adressing both.
"I don't mind at all," said Pamela. "The more the merrier."
With a small smile, she added, "This would probably be a good time for me to mention I got Mr. Maximoff to agree to be the official staff sponsor for the botany and environment club I'm starting up. I'll be posting the time for the first meeting up on the school network."
A little promotion never hurt, particularly with the shared interest in botany.

She glanced up, seeing the two up ahead.
"Oh, I hope I'm not late!"
