[her voice gets further and closer from the mic at irregular intervals. She's unpacking and likes multitasking 8D]

I was wondering if there was a limit to the number of classes one can take here, or is it simply as many as one can handle? I've noticed several that I'd love to take and I certainly can handle the schedule. If there are timing ( Read more... )

Hermione? You actually do still have to sleep, even in America.

Harry! [turns on the video and gives him a little wave] Of course I have to sleep, but it isn't as if I couldn't take the schedule. I am merely inquiring at this stage. I shall draw one up after I've talked to the professors.

And you! You never told me what classes were offered and I do hope I've brought the right books for everything. One never knows when one might need something particular. [moving from camera to set up all her books on a shelf. And around the shelf. and. You know some are just going to stay in that trunk and sit at the end of her bed] You didn't bring that diary did you?

Honestly Harry, if you leave things at home, it just makes more work for me. I'll pick you up another. No excuses this time.

I haven't heard of a limit yet.

What is a homework diary?

Oh good!

It's similar to a planner. One writes down what homework one has to do, when it is due, and what the particulars are. It is easier to keep up with it that way! [gleeful look. Hermione loves her homework diaries]

It is! [holds up her own] It's quite useful and one doesn't risk misplacing their assignments!

You must be Hermione. Harry's told me about you.

As long as you can handle the classes I don't believe there's a limit, but do make time to rest.

I'm afraid he hasn't told me of you.

Oh I can certainly handle the classes ma'am, I'm used to heavy schedules. My mutation certainly helps. Don't worry, there is always time to rest.

Well, the circumstances are a bit strange, but I'm Lily Potter--Harry's mother. It's nice to meet you.

What's your mutation, if I may ask?

Oh! He did tell me of you then, I just didn't realize...[congrats she's kind of speechless for a moment. You are way too young to be Harry's mother. Then she remembers what Harry told her and collects herself]

I can go up to an hour back in time.

(her accent gets ridiculously thicker the more she rambles)

I haven't heard about a limit. But I only arrived yesterday.

I don't think the teachers could have anythin' against takin' more classes if ya show that you can handle it. I'd think they'd want students that show some kind of initiative.

A teacher told me there is no limit, so I intend to take as many classes as I am able. I'll have to see about ones that are longer than an hour though... I'll work something out! It merely requires careful planning, that is all.

[she looks as if she's having to think about what you said] Oh well yes, initiative is usually rewarded!

Oh great! That means I don't need to decide between chemistry and physics or this school year. I was afraid I might an' since the subjects often go hand in hand that would've been pretty annoyin'.

[she purses her lips, head tilting as she remembers the rest of the message] What exactly is a homework diary? Is it ta provide help for rememberin' exactly what is due ta whom an' when? Like a planner?
