Since I see so many talking about the Co$ recently, I thought I'd give my $0.02. My dad and stepmother were memebearers of the Co$ for many years back in the 80's, and I actually went with them to $cientology's international headquarters in Clearwater, Florida, spending the better part of a week living at Flag. yeah, it's interesting that the early stuff going from the beginning to Clear is often useful, but after that it becomes weird mythology and very little actual new technique.

Like most systems, after you get past the first major obstacle (yourself), there is little else to do... other than "keep Practicing at what you've Learned thus far".

Most books and teachings can only get you so far, anyway.

All the hooplah surrounding them has gotten me to thinking about it a bit. That's when I remembered that my parents had been members 20 years ago. They still send them junk mail. The coffers of the Co$ are deep, indeed.
