I can't dial the phone..

Here is phone keypad:
1 -- 2 -- 3
4 -- 5 -- 6
7 -- 8 -- 9

Here is the computer keyboard, credit card machine, calculator, and cash register keypad:
7 -- 8 -- 9
4 -- 5 -- 6
1 -- 2 -- 3

They are backwards. Whoever came up with the idea that it was ok to make that happen.. needs to goto a doctor. Since at work, I use the computer keyboard, credit card machine ( Read more... )

When I was young (HA- here I go) we used to have to dial a phone and I could remember numbers and there was never an issue with dialing wrong. (it just took a long time especially with "0's") When the push button phone came out (it was really cool) I just had to remember a pattern (because of the numbers on the keypad) Now everything is in my address book and I don't even need to remember the pattern. (also, my phone has bluethooth so I just have to say "Call XX" and it does. HA)
