I should be studying too |||OTL...but, but...;___;

Oh~, highschool, the time of my life when i didn't had to study so much :'D ( just...wait 'til you get to Uni =w=;; )

And as for Valentine's Day, i can't say much, except that it reminds me of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lupercalia
xD
We don't celebrate it here. Not traditionally, actually. We call it "El Día de los Enamorados" ( something like "the day of those who are in love"), and as expected, single people hate it x'D
To give out sweets and chocolate we have "the sweetness week" ( i think it was made up by a sweets brand), were you exchange a sweet for a kiss at least once in that week.
I like that one more, because you don't have to have a boyfriend/girlfriend to participate, you can just give candies to your friends in exchange for a simple kiss on the cheek :3

But hey! glad you got some chocolate xD
Good luck on your test! o.o/

Studying? What? What is that nonsense...sounds quite gross.

What's IB like? I heard of it occasionally when going through college apps, but my school only had AP so that's all I ever experienced.

Studying IS such nonsense! Nonsense that makes me tired lol.

Well, I'm taking one AP class now, and I'll be taking two that I know of next year. There's a difference between IB and AP classes though. As of right now, I'm technically in "Pre-IB". Hardcore IB is my last two years of highschool *dreads*. The nice thing is our schedule is different. We have classes every other day. It's like a 'Day 1' 'Day 2' kind of thing. You'll have some classes on day 1, but then you'll go to your other classes on day 2. Another nice thing is you are allowed to choose your higher level and standard level classes for the last two years. Higher level is just more challenging and the exams are different..
For instance, I got to pick the science I wanted to take.. and I took HL Biology (No more physics and chemistry for the rest of high school xD!)
Ehh I'm rambling now lol.
It's a good program though. It's definitely more work than a traditional high school program though.

My school had something a little like that: we had A, B and C days that alternated in a 'block' schedule. It was nice not having to do the same thing day-in and day-out.

No physics or chemistry?!! Sounds positively dreadful. /insane

And eh. More work builds character.

Yea, that's what they call it, a block schedule.
Haha, physics almost feels like another math class to me orz. Chemistry is okay, but we could only pick one science and I got way better grades in biology lol.

Hope you had a happy Valentines! I've been meaning to post baking stuff for the longest time (and get started on a costume project) but time and effort are needed. And school is my current priority XD:

I have mixed feelings about it too. So commercialized, and the whole feel of conformity and the feel that you "NEED" a boyfriend or girlfriend on that day (lol, so unlucky). But yes, it can be nice too, somehow.

Oooh post some baking stuff! Haha, I totally failed at making Linzer cookies this Valentines Day. I was quite sad about that lol >.<

Pshhhh who NEEDS a boyfriend, haha. xD
I am totally fine with eating my chocolates by myself hehe.
