Thanks for the support <3. It's tough because I don;t want to end a friendship and split up our little 'group,' but I'm getting tired of her shit. This particular instance just disturbed me. I'm just going to talk about more general, non-divisive things, and hope this never comes up in conversation again. Knowing her, though, she'll say things just to upset me. BFF for sure -.-.
I know! I can;t understand how someone can think like that. I have no idea how I became friends with this girl. We're so opposite in just about everything.
Maybe I should just come to visit you and put on the thickest German accent I can pull off. Ha!
I don't have any people around me who are paticularly racist, but a..uhm...well friend of mine is very conservative and we constantly discuss the smallest things. We had this discussion in English class..about the question whether or not humans are superior to other animals or not, and we discussed it afterwards. I disagree, whereas she, being raised a Christian and so on, things that humans are supposed to make the world their own. she also thinks humans are more intelligent that any other species. Uhm. Yeah. Whatever.
I hate ignorance and racism so much and I get mad so easily when I talk about things like this. Leanred to hold back though.
You definitely should, lol. Although, I don't think she has a problem with anyone who looks white/European. If you start speaking to someone in German, though, she might get mad. Apparently to be in the US, you have to speak English. I personally didn't get the memo.
I'm a Christian, and I promise you we don't all think like that!
I can't stand ignorance like this, and it's especially tough because she really is my friend. I've decided to just not bring up anything about it, in the hopes of never getting into another "discussion" where I have to hear her bullshit.
Argh, I'm sorry for stereotyping. I hate it, so I really shouldn't do it. It's just because that one sentence in the bible that I assume Christians usually feel that way (:
It's fine lol. My pastor is really good about emphasizing that not everything in the Bible should be taken literally. I'm so fortunate that I was raised in a moderate, tolerant church instead of some crazy fundamentalist shit that makes the rest of us look bad xD.

Except not really, I just happen to be INTENSELY crushing on this guy who happens to be Muslim. xD Same effect though!
Also, I'm sorry you had to put up with that girl. She sounds like a piece of work.
