I just got done voting. I voted no! God, those things are wordy, but with all of those papers in my lecture halls saying NO, I clearly remembered what to say on that memorandum :).

I'm mostly republican, but I voted NO! for two reasons:

One, I feel that the original constitution contains everything needed to run a government. That is to say, the founding fathers may not have predicted everything, but they set up a robust system. Ergo, don't change a damn thing.

Two, What people do in their private life is their business. What's next, sex bans from prudish fundies? It is important that consenting adults are allowed to live their lives as they feel they should.

Incidently, I'd be against a amendment defining marriage in any way. I think the corporate/business should choose for themselves. (Any business I own will, in fact, offer spousal benefits to partners, regardless of if they are married. I'm a nice guy, and I want my employees to be loyal.)

The sons of bitches wouldn't let Rick or me vote without a piece of mail proving we lived where we're at and sadly all my mail goes home. Sons of bitches. T_T

That and I STILL can't find my voting area...some sorta First Congregational Church on University but I saw no such church of congregating...nothing but Lutheran and whatnot churches...much sadness.
