I'm not very good at talking about myself (despite my obvious egotism).  I'm good at talking about things I like or things that have happened to me, but not so much myself as an individual.  I had an "informal interview" with the Chicago area admissions guy when I was at Wash U yesterday, and he asked me the normal questions, like what my strengths

that ice cream was NASTY. and omg that was a huge college conversation. my mother has an issue with distance and wants to fly to providence (...) and then drive to DC or somehow apparate to boston... even though baltimore is closer.

baltimore is closer to what? DC, yes, providence, no. you can drive from providence to boston in less than two hours, i believe - that's what i did this summer.
