As if I wasn't shipping them enough already, you had to go and do this and I freaking love you for it. I was honest to goodness howling. This virtual pissing contest is brilliant, and the back and forth...gah. You are truly a goddess. These two are far too perfect and banter far too well to NOT meet this way.

This is, regardless of how small the roles Babs and Emil play in CoI, official headcanon for that 'verse foreverandeverandever. Seriously. I've just placed it in the timeline and everything.

Your bribe has been extremely effective. I'm going right now to do some hardcore polishing, and fill in a couple gaps. Your homage is appreciated like crazy. Thanks hun!

No worries. I'm so glad that the whole thing feels right. I've been staring at it so long I wasn't sure any more.

If it makes the Major Plot Point any more palatable, can I assure you that the character involved in said Major Plot Point manages to stick it to some people in the end?

I love this. Barbara's banter is wonderful. I don't know Emil (I've been out of X-Fandom for aaages), but Barbara. BARBARA. She is rapidly becoming one of my favorites.

I think I need an Oracle icon.

Thankies! lithiumlaughter came up with the idea. Emil is a C- or D-list character, one of Gambit's cousins from the Thieves' Guild but comics!canon never defined his role. So Percy made him the Guild hacker.

Babs, of course, kicks 10 sorts of ass, especially as Oracle.

I did not understand this when it first came out (lack of background on Babs), and now that I do, THIS. IS. AWESOME. Any chance we can get a lovely little elopement and royal houses forever together lording over the digital world fic? :bats eyelashes:
