Bath tri

Blimey, you can tell how long since I last posted, the online form's gone all new media. Still, what's the odds they're XHTML and AAA compliant under the hood?

I still need to get round to posting my 2006 write up, but at this rate I reckon it'll probably merge into 2007 write up, or the 2010 one.

Before this gets too exiting, I will add ( yet another f-ing tri post )

Well done! Just want to add - Bath Uni sports center is fantastic, I was impressed! There is a nice cafe inside it, where we had nice hot soup and jacket potatoes after Ant completed the race, so from that point of view better than London.

Sounds like a great race. Nice work on the dip-and-climb and the run sounds like an absolute gift. I envy you having your best discipline at the end - the bit where I climb through the field is on the bike and the psychological hit of dropping back through the field on the run is, er, vexing.

Ta for the Triblogs link too - will check it out!

"Climbing the field" works for me too. I much prefer getting faster and faster to slower and slower - the end of the bike is a battle for me to hold people off. But also when doing run only races, or laps in a race, I tend to get faster towards the end. I think I just about judge it ok, but sometimes I wonder if it means I could have given more earlier.

You can always come and bike with me... Need to get some serious mileage in this year as it's my weakest discipline confidence-wise. Tri bars need to become an extension of my arms really as opposed to something pretty that stops me seeing how fast the road is whizzing by!

We're doing quite a lot of local stuff this year too.

Google gives us web albums?

Have you tried/compared with lj's offering?

Oh, and many happy racey congratulations!

justoneway showed me Picassa, it also downloads and does a lot more a desktop client. Very, very cool. Not tried LJ one, I appear to be turning into a Google fan boy.
