Today was inconsistent;
like somebody hit the fast forward button only to rewind.
And the earth felt lonely.

I read somewhere about this theory, the reminiscence bump, this theory states that it is during your late teen to early adult years, 18 years to 24 years, is when you experience what you would later call your favorite books, films, music, etc., and in short the reminiscence bump represents events that are part of the core definition of who you are
