Isn't this ridiculous?
Yesterday I didn't go to work. I wanted to go to work. I just switched jobs last week and I enjoy this one. I had shit to do yesterday - it's amazing how much paper can accumulate in boxes and cleaned-out filing cabinets over a year and a half, and the files that can pile up when no one files by day. Adding to the record of serious injuries.
It took me until I turned 20 to fall off a horse for the first time. I never got bucked off until then, when I got my first concussion and passed out for the first time in my life. That was a milestone that I could've done without. Well, now I've got another one.

Adventures in babysitting. Kinda.
Dad got me up this morning and asked me to keep the sister for a little bit while he got his hair cut and his weekly massage. 'Sure,' I said, 'no problem.' I figured he wouldn't be gone but a couple of hours and Grace wouldn't get up for a while after I did.

Stephanie Meyer has written four books (so far) in her Twilight series; the last one comes out August 2 in hardback.
