On that note. Merlin sleeps in his room in Gaius' chambers, and Gwen kept the house she lived in with her dad before he was executed. Why are they suddenly ready and available for their masters in the middle of the night/first thing in the morning?
Maybe like on certain days of the week they have to sleep in the ante-chamber? *tries to defend bad setting*

maybe Arthur is growing away from Merlin now that his miraculous feats of loyalty seem to be becoming a little less... frequent? He associates his healing with Gwen and Gaius, maybe their relationship actually weakened after that episode.
DON'T SAY THAT! *cries* I WILL NOT HAVE MY SHIP TORN APART!!!!!!!!11

thought Colin and Bradley were awesome, even if I think the Gwen/Arthur thing is going - 'fast' isn't the right word. It just seems a bit... convenient, honestlyI know, what a load of random shit. They barely, if EVER talk all through Season 1, yet Merlin throws himself at Arthur's feet every other day, and he's already thinking about cheating on him! You bloody clotpole Arthur ( ... )

I know, but - they just happen to be there both times? It's - like the Arthur/Gwen thing. Convenient. Way too convenient. *sigh* But I'm a horrible person! I'm probably making up problems where they don't need to be. :D

*g* It could be the source for some amazing angst! Also, how much worse is Arthur going to feel knowing how badly he misjudged? Think of it that way. ^_^

Ah, well. It's going to happen, and we'll just have to - IDEK. Resort to fandom for our slashy lulz. Then again, it doesn't look like the Merlin slash is dying down any time soon - "everything I do, I do for him?" *grin*

Yes, that's very true. And for me, you really can't go wrong with angsty!Merlin, if anything a fic is five hundred times better with it. OMG SPEAKING OF WHICH! Guess what i'll be reading after this? XD

....Oh god, how long will it take before the cheesey Bryan Adams fanvids emerge within the fandom?

Was that an Ed Byrne reference I spied there?

*laughs* Why yes. Yes it was. ^_^ Looove me some Ed Byrnes! "The only thing ironic about Alanis Morisette's Ironic is that... it's not ironic." :D

Agree with all crit there. Servants being available late at night though - maybe they'd just gone to bed? Maybe? Because both Gwen and Merlin were dressed and not sleepy or anything. Hm.

The raven coat! I want it so bad! I bet it swishes real nice if you turn quickly! ^^ *imagines self wearing coat, turning in circles and giggling* Haaaaaaaa....

I think the CGI was better. Bodycount was high though, wasn't it?

Fear the canon love. Fear it. TREMBLE BEFORE IT. *runs away*

True... and I think Arthur was getting up, so Merlin might have just got there, which would be a good reason. But Morgana had evidently been asleep a while to be dreaming like that? Shmeh, that doesn't mean Gwen had gone. It just - took me out of the episode to think about the reasons at the time. *shrug* OH WELL. :D

*laughs* Evidently, evil is directly linked to eye colour and swishy clothing. More the clothing than the evil, though. Which is why Morgana's dresses are occasionally swishy and Merlin has the least swishy clothes of all. It also explains Edwin's coat! AHAHAHA, CLOTHING OTP.

Bodycount was almost as high as the plague episode, and that's saying something! I wonder what the fallout for this will be? I wonder if the show will bother even PRETENDING to deal with the fall-out? :D

I TREMBLE. TREEEEEEEEMBLE, I SAY.

And Uther's professional cape swishing! Though Arthur has that very awesome long coat (I totally wrote cat there by accident, lol) that swishes very nicely indeed. Makes you think, dunnit? O.O

Evidently, the only completely non-evil people are Merlin and Gwen (even Gaius' asexual robe thing swishes a bit!) - and Gwen's dresses are getting markedly swishier... o.O

Merlin, get out while you still can!
