In Short: -Ended up kicking my Latin final's ASS. -Got an A on my awful English paper and my prof recommended that I submit it to the underclassmen essay.... thingie.  BOOYAH.

There was a student activities thing on campus today with free food and stuff (SCORED TWO FREE SHIRTS!  YEAH!) and I saw something that amused me:

The Christian Student Union booth was RIGHT next to the Gay-Straight Alliance booth .  Including the OH-SO-CUTE gay guy sitting there, sucking on a popsicle.

You can't make this stuff up. 

So stuff has happened in the days between updates.

Most notably, I went up to Georgetown on Thursday to visit Noelle and hang out with her a little bit before she heads off to the Merry Old Land of Law School.  Epic times were to be had, even if it took me WAY longer than it should have to get there due to there being a wreck on I-35.  Once there, ( Read more... )

I HAS A NEW LAPTOP.  THE INTERNET WORKS.  IT IS FAST AND AMAZING.  I DON'T HAVE MISSING KEYS.  IT IS SO PRETTY.

I HAVE A NEW LAPTOP.

One of the side-effects of having a naturally resilient personality is that I tend to forget my bad moods pretty quickly once I get out of them.  This is why when I look at my journal again after having been gone for a few days and I see a depressed, angry entry, I'm sort of surprised to see it still there.

The newest branch of the Westbank local library FINALLY opened its new location over by my house!  It's been under construction for what feels like ages but it opened on Sunday.

So today I ran over there just to poke around.  It's very nice, but it doesn't have as much personality as the original branch that I'm used to.  It's like when you move ( Read more... )
