I've had videos playing on Youtube for hours now, just listening to the music for the most part. A few of them, I've watched, but mostly I just wanted music playing. Even among family... or perhaps especially among family! My brother and I are on our own for supper tonight, and we were both getting hungry. Well, he's in his room, doing nothing in particular about it, so I decided to go ahead and check our options.

Second day of the new year. Weather fulfilled expectations--little to snow for most of December, but it's been snowing all day today. Figures, huh? Second day of 2012, fifth day being a year older. I feel like I should be drumming my fingers on something. I still don't have sound on my computer--I'm pretty sure dad forgot--and I don't have Word--admittedly, I should just say something--which means I can't write much, and I can't watch videos or listen to anything on my computer. There are some things that you definitely don't expect to wake up to at four-something in the morning. One of these things, at least for me, is a giant stuffed frog. Usually, said frog is on top of a large pile of stuffed animals and the occasional doll, hanging from the ceiling in a hammock over my bed. Final done, final done, yah, yah, yah! Done with the first summer session as of today, and have over a week until the next one starts up. Don't have classes for a while, yeah!

How bad is it that hearing a male voice in my head at four in the morning while I'm going to the bathroom not unusual? The weird part was who it was! Earlier, I read a fic that had a very interesting note at the top of the first chapter. Paraphrasing, the author said s/he wrote it after three cans of Red Bull and an espresso. It was surprisingly coherent, though they hopefully didn't do it for every chapter ( Read more... ) -

Hmm. Amazing what poking through some favorite fics will do for calming you down. Not sure what was up with me earlier, but oh well. I'm fine now. Though there are a few people I wish would go ahead and update their fics! Oh, well. Not like I don't have anything to read until then.
